SIKH RELIGION
The Sikh religion, also known as Sikhi, is a panentheistic faith with deep roots in the Indian subcontinent. Founded in the late 15th century by Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Sikhism is characterized by an unwavering belief in an omnipresent God, social equality and a commitment to selfless service. Central to the Sikh philosophy is the notion of the 'Guru', with Guru Nanak being the first of ten Sikh Gurus whose teachings are enshrined in the sacred scripture, the Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
